My Career Story

In late 2017, 5 months after being laid off from one job, I was fired from my next one! I had a 9 month old baby at home and a husband nervous that we would blow through our emergency savings and be homeless before I could get another job. I started applying for jobs, but quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing. I enrolled in a local Resume Writing Course that turned my situation around.

A month and a half into my job search without a single interview, my phone suddenly wouldn’t stop ringing! I would be receiving emails about scheduling more interviews while I was sitting in an interview. I had figured out how the system works and once I was settled, I started applying that knowledge to help the people around me & The Restart-Up Life was born.

In May 2018, our doors opened & we started offering career coaching and resume writing services . To date, I have written well over 300 keyword optimized resumes and helped 50+ career coaching clients.
